Josep Egozcue Lectures. The Foundation holds its first season of lectures in tribute to its former Vice-President, Doctor Josep Egozcue. This year, Professor Daniel Callahan, founder of the Hastings Center in New York and currently Director of its International Programme, will give the inaugural season of lectures, with the following titles:

- "Medical Progress: What Should We Seek and What Should We Limit?"
- "Is There a Role for the Market in Just Health Care?"
- "Declining Birthrates and Aging Societies: Is There a Solution"
