The Effect of Economic Crisis on Health

The CRES conference, sponsored by the Foundation, analyzed the effects of the economic crisis on lifestyles.

On May 23, the Foundation sponsored the CRES-UPF annual conference focused on lifestyles in times of economic crisis.  Beatriz González López-Valcárcel, professor of Quantitative Methods in Economics at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria took part in the event with a lecture on how the economic crisis is affecting the population.

Pere Ibern, a researcher at CRES and Guillem López-Casasnovas, professor of Economics at the Universidad Pompeu Fabra, took part in a round table held after the conference, moderated by Vicente Ortún, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics at the UPF
