First prize: Yousra El Kasmi for the work The controversy surrounding the rejection of blood transfusion
Second prize: Ojanta Mahmud for the work Ethics applied in palliative care and treatment of terminally ill patients
Third prize: Gemma Cardona Caballero and Mercè Gil Bofill for the work Bioethics: euthanasia


The prizes were awarded on October 17, in Barcelona. The cerimony included a lecture about the Origins and development of the Declaration of Helsinki, delivered by Rafael Dal-Re, scientific advisor of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation.
