Matinee sessions on bioethics with the Catalan Academy of Cinema
10 and 14 May
For the third year, the Víctor Grífols i Lucas Foundation will partner with the Catalan Academy of Cinema, the organization which represents professionals, technicians and creative workers in the cinema production sector in Catalonia.
As part of the Gaudí Cycle, designed to bring Catalan cinema to viewers in towns across Catalan, we have organized two cinema and debate sessions, one on 10 May in Granollers and the other on the 14th in Igualada. The matinee sessions will be attended by students in the 4th year of high school and the first year of bachillerato, and will include a film that raises ethical questions to be discussed with adolescents.
The film is "My brother chases dinosaurs", which addresses the relationship of a teenager with his younger brother, who has Down syndrome. The screening will be followed by a debate with students led by Núria Terribas.
