Personalized medicine

Scientific progress in spheres such as genetics and epigenetics has opened up a range of possibilities for personalized medicine. However, developing such solutions requires high levels of investment and collaboration between the scientific world, the public sector, the business world and investors.

On 22 June, Fomento del Trabajo, the Víctor Grifols i Lucas Foundation and Activa TT para la salud holded a workshop to discuss the challenges raised by personalized medicine and to analyse the ethical limits of research and the resultant applications.

The event is also intended to act as a meeting point and a forum to enable those involved to establish ongoing dialogue and working relationships.
