Esta nueva publicación trata la visión médica y la visión jurídica de la medicina predictiva ofrecidas por dos expertos, el doctor Xavier Estivill, Jefe del Centro de Genética Médica y Molecular del Instituto de Investigación Oncológica (IRO) de l'Hospitalet, Barcelona, con la ponencia "¿Hacia una medicina predictiva?" y la doctora Mirentxu Corcoy, Catedrática de Derecho Penal de la Universidad Pública de Navarra con la ponencia "Medicina predictiva y discriminación". Ambas visiones quedan completadas con las intervenciones de un grupo interdisciplinar de especialistas coordinado por el doctor Josep Egozcue, vicepresidente de la Fundació Víctor Grífols i Lucas.
