11. Los fines de la medicina (The Goals of Medicine)

El documento que elaboró el grupo de investigadores del Hastings Center, y que ahora traducimos al castellano y al catalán, es un intento de desmitificar la medicina, a fin de que el ejercicio de la misma constituya efectivamente un progreso para la humanidad. Los fines de la medicina, a finales del siglo XX, deben ser algo más que la curación de la enfermedad y el alargamiento de la vida.

Con la traducción de este documento, la Fundación Víctor Grífols i Lucas quiere poner de manifiesto la calidad y el valor de su contenido para los objetivos que articulan las actividades de la Fundación, así como favorecer y contribuir a su difusión entre todos aquellos que se mueven en la órbita de las llamadas "ciencias de la salud".
