XII Edition of the Ethics and Science Awards Ceremony

We invite you to the award ceremony of the XII Edition of the Ethics and Science Awards, which will take place on Monday, 16 March at CosmoCaixa, featuring a talk by Mariola Dinarès “Train Your Algorithm: Tactics for Using Social Media in a Healthy Way”

Mariola Dinarès is a journalist and content producer specialising in technology. She currently directs and hosts the POPAP podcast on Catalunya Ràdio and has been awarded the DonaTIC Prize.

In this talk, we will explore how social media has evolved over time and analyse the elements that make it so appealing… and often addictive. Building on this timeline, Mariola will invite us to imagine alternative models that prioritise healthier and more meaningful interactions. A critical and creative perspective for rethinking the digital platforms we use every day.

Afterwards, we will announce the award‑winning projects of this year’s edition, recognising educational centres committed to integrating ethical reflection into their classrooms. Representatives from the winning centres will briefly present their initiatives and experiences.

At the end of the event, we will share a light aperitif with all attendees.
