The foundation Amics de la Gent Gran has organized the International Conference on Loneliness, to be held on November 22, which aims to analyze the causes and consequences of the social isolation that affects more than half a million elderly people in Spain.  

The Víctor Grífols i Lucas Foundation is supporting the event with collaboration from Ramon Bayès who is a member of the board of trustees and who will be on the Scientific Committee throughout the event.
