The Foundation has published a new monograph which, under the title Alcance y límites de la solidaridad en tiempos de crisis (The scope and limits of solidarity in times of crisis), aims to analyze the difficulties in maintaining the value of solidarity in the current economic and financial crisis.

The document, which includes contributions from a significant number of representatives from the third sector, is based on the conferences organized by the Foundation in collaboration with Probitas Foundation last November 27.  In particular, the report highlights an article by Thomas Pogge, professor of Philosophy and International Relations at the University of Yale, which reveals the levity with which the richest countries in the world justify abandoning charitable actions. The on-line version of the monograph is currently available.
