Prize awarded to the programme 30 minuts by TV3 for the report "Pacients en espera" (Patients waiting) broadcast on 1 June 2014.

This report analyzes the predicament of thousands of Catalan patients who are on a waiting list for a transplant organ. Austerity policies have increased the waiting time beyond the maximum of six months established by law, while there are no time limits for other, less common operations. The programme uses the stories of six of these patients to analyze the situation in the public health service in Catalonia.
