Let’s talk about death through books

May, 8

You are cordially invited to our event “Let's talk about death through books”, which will kick off the Life at the End-of-Life Festival. This gathering will feature a series of cultural activities designed to inform and advocate for the destigmatization of death, aiming to break societal taboos surrounding talking about death, grief, and the final chapters of life. This event will be held in Barcelona in May 2024.

Moderated by Pol Izquierdo, this activity will explore the theme of death and dying through the lens of three literary works by authors Espartac Peran (Tres desitjos abans de morir: de la mort, el dol i la vida [Three wishes before dying: on death, grief, and life]), Soledad Romero (El meravellós llibre de la mort [The amazing book about death]), and Cristina Llagostera (Morir con amor [Dying with love]).
