null More than 70 projects compete in the 16th edition of the Víctor Grifols i Lucas Foundation bioethics awards and scholarships

The Foundation awards six research scholarships, a journalism prize and three prizes for high school research projects, with an allocation of 33.000 euros.

Barcelona, September 30, 2014. The Víctor Grífols i Lucas Foundation will present the annual Bioethics awards and scholarships, on October 9. A total of 72 papers have been presented between the different categories in the contest. The funding allocated to the sixteenth edition has been increased in comparison to other years, to a total of 33,000 euros, which will revert in the study and in increasing awareness of Bioethics. The awards ceremony will be held in the Recinto Modernista at the Hospital de Sant Pau and a conference will be delivered by Francisco J. Ayala, a prestigious biologist and professor at the University of California, Irvine.
