The Prizes and Grants Award Ceremony was held on October 29 at the Auditorium of IDEC, Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Maria Blasco, PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and Director of the National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO), offered the conference "Telomeres as Key Modulators of Aging and. Longevity". After the conference, Victor Grifols i Lucas, Victoria Camps, president of the Foundation, and Francesca Puigpelat, jury member, presented the awards 2011-2012.
