null The Víctor Grífols i Lucas Foundation recognizes research into ethical conflicts among ICU professionals
Barcelona, 9 October 2013./ The jury that selects the winners of the Grants and Prizes for Bioethics awarded annually by the Víctor Grífols i Lucas Foundation has selected this year's winners, and the awards will be presented on 17 October at the Barcelona Atheneum. This year, the Bioethics Research Prize will be awarded to Anna Marta Falcó, Lecturer at the School of Nursing at the University of Barcelona, for her study Análisis de la Conflictividad Ética en los profesionales de Enfermería de las Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos (Analysis of ethical conflicts among nursing professionals in intensive care units).
 
The journalism award goes to a collection of reports on biomedical research. The Foundation will also present four research grants, while the the prize for senior high school students went to a study of blood transfusion and conscientious objection in Jehovah's Witnesses.
