On 10 June the Fundació Victor Grifols i Lucas will present the book entitled “Bioethics: Foundations, Applications and Future Challenges” published by Routledge & CRC Press Books. This volume examines bioethics from three perspectives: its foundations, the current debates in healthcare bioethics, and the future challenges faced by this discipline.
This presentation can be followed both in person at our main offices and online. This event welcomes the book’s editors:
Josep-E. Baños, Vice-chancellor of the Universitat de Vic - Universitat Central de Catalunya (UVic-Ucc) and full professor of Clinical Pharmacology.
Nuria Terribas, Director of the Víctor Grifols i Lucas Foundation and Director of the Chair in Bioethics at the UVic-Ucc.
Ester Busquets, Coordinator at the UVic-Ucc Chair in Bioethics, and professor of bioethics.
Irene Cambra, Bioethics coordinator at UVic-Ucc Faculty of Medicine.
Geared towards students and professionals in health sciences, philosophy, psychology, and education, this book is essential reading both for those seeking an introduction to bioethics as well as for those interested in exploring recent issues in the field.
