null Training Course “Introduction to Bioethics". Agrupació Escolar Catalana
January 26 and 28, 2015 (2nd session)

The Víctor Grífols i Lucas Foundation organized a training course intended for  secondary school techers in the Agrupació Escolar Catalana (AEC), a teachers' association created in 1996 with the main objective of sharing experiences and developing projects in the field of education.

The course, which had the aims to encourage classroom discussion on bioethical issues, was an approach to general notions on bioethics, especially in the medical field. The issues covered were varied, such as the doctor-patient relationship, bioethics at the end of life, and the role of ethics committees, among others.

The two people who taught the sessions on 26 and 28 January were Begoña Roman, Professor of Ethics, Department of Theoretical and Practical Philosophy at the University of Barcelona, and Màrius Morlans, physician and member of the Bioethics Committee of Catalonia.
